Piano Night with Friqtao

Join us at the Roland Store London to celebrate the piano with Friqtao and friends.
Whether you play a little, used to play, or would like to start, we’d love for you to join us for a night of live performance, exploration and hands-on experience with Roland’s piano range.
The night will begin with a discussion with touring pianist Nicky Brown. We’ll be asking him about his approach to learning the iconic pop songs he plays on tour. Nicky will also spend some time with the FP-40, the newest in our piano range, diving into the sound, feel, the world of Piano Sphere and its features.
Secondly, you’ll hear an exclusive live performance from Friqtao, played on one of our flagship grand pianos. With a vision for stripped-back, intimate live shows and a focus on connecting with his audience, Friqtao is poised to take the stage at Roland Store London, offering an immersive and meditative experience.

Friqtao
Friqtao, the Paris-born, UK-based pianist known for turning train station pianos into impromptu stages, has struck a chord with over 3.5 million TikTok followers, transforming pop and hip-hop piano renditions into viral performances. His covers of artists including Harry Styles, Kanye West and Mac Miller have helped him achieve his goal of making the piano feel accessible and alive through a contemporary lens.

Nicky Brown
Nicky Brown has a storied career wearing multiple hats, including keyboardist, producer, and musical director. In addition to being a BAFTA-winning composer, his collaborators include Madonna, Emeli Sandé, Michael Bolton, Tom Jones, Earth, Wind & Fire, Primal Scream, and many others.
