1. General
1.1. “We” or “us” in these terms and conditions means Roland Europe Group Limited, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 08904664, and whose registered office is at Hive 2, 1530 Arlington Business Park, Theale, Reading, RG7 4SA, England.
1.2. These terms and conditions together with our Privacy Policy apply to any products that you may purchase from our website [www.rolandstorelondon.com].
1.3. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you order any products via this website because by placing an order, you agree to be bound by them.
1.4. By placing an order with us, you are confirming to us that:
- 1.4.1. you are a consumer and are not purchasing our products for any business purposes;
- 1.4.2. you are at least 18 years old and not under guardianship; and
- 1.4.3. you are resident on mainland England, Scotland, or Wales.
1.5. We have the right to amend these terms and conditions and may do so at any point and without prior notice. However, the terms and conditions that apply to your purchase are the ones you accepted at the time of that particular purchase.
2. Prices
2.1. The prices displayed on the website include the statutory value added tax (where applicable), but do not include delivery charge. In the checkout view, the total cost for your purchase including delivery charge will be displayed. If we are unable to deliver your order in full and have to make more than one delivery, you will only be charged for one delivery.
2.2. Prices on this website can differ from prices in our physical stores.
2.3. We may from time to time offer promotions or discount codes. Such offers are valid only for the time period specified in the relevant offer and in the offer terms. All offers are subject to the relevant products being available to us and in stock when we pick your order for delivery. We reserve the right to amend or terminate any discount or offer at any time without notice (but this will not affect any orders that we have already accepted). Offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated otherwise. To validly apply a discount code, the discount code needs to be filled into the relevant field on the order before completing the purchase.
3. How to order
3.1. Click the “add to cart” button to place the item you wish to purchase into your shopping cart. You can review your shopping cart at any time and add or delete items as you wish. When you are satisfied that you wish to purchase all the items in your shopping cart you click “Check out”. Review your draft order including the delivery charges and estimated delivery times, then click “Pay now” to place a binding order. Enter your payment details to pay for your order.
3.2. We will send you an automatic email confirmation that your order has been placed. Please note that a placed order is an offer and does not constitute a binding contract until the order has been approved by us. If we approve your order, we will send you a shipping confirmation email that includes all relevant information about your order. With our shipping confirmation email our contract is concluded. For a receipt of your purchase check your orders in your online account.
3.3. We may not approve your order if we have reason to believe that you are not compliant with clause 1.4 of these terms and conditions or for other commercial, operational or legal reasons. If we do not approve your order, we will let you know at the earliest opportunity after the automatic email confirmation has been sent. We will attempt to refund any amounts already paid for the unapproved order using the same method you used to make the payment. If alternative arrangements are necessary for any reason, we will contact you to settle the refund.
4. Payment methods
4.1. You can pay for your goods in the following ways. Depending on the payment method you choose, additional costs and terms may apply:
Card payments: You can enter your payment details at the time you place your order using a valid credit or debit card (VISA, AMEX, or Mastercard). We reserve the right to check the validity of the credit or debit card, its credit status in relation to the order value, and whether the address data of the purchaser is correct. We may refuse orders depending on the result of these checks.
Klarna payments: Klarna's Pay in 3 / Pay in 30 days are unregulated credit agreements. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. Late fees may apply. Ts&Cs apply.
5. Delivery
5.1. Delivery costs and estimated delivery times can be seen in the checkout view, prior to you completing the order. Delivery times are usually 2-3 days from the date of your purchase for shipments to England, Scotland or Wales.
5.2. Even though we do our very best to deliver within the communicated time frame, delivery may sometimes take longer due to unexpected circumstances. If your order does not arrive by the estimated time of delivery, please contact Customer Service and they will try their best to help you.
6. Leaving a review
6.1. By leaving a review you give us permission to use that review in other marketing material and promotions as we see fit. Any derogatory or offensive comments will be removed. Please see our Privacy Policy.
7. Returns
7.1. Please see our Returns Policy for returns of musical instruments and accessories.
7.2. Returns of textiles for a full refund are possible provided that the item is returned within 14 days of the receipt and in the same condition as it was in upon your receipt. If a textile item has been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than to try the item on), we have a right to make a deduction on your refund with an amount corresponding to the diminished value of the item. 9. Our Liability
9.1. The product information contained on our website has been published in good faith and we will do our best to ensure that it is accurate. However, occasionally, it may be incorrect, incomplete or out of date due to human error or circumstances beyond our control. Where information is incorrect due to an error or circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right not to accept your order for the affected products, or if your order has already been accepted, not to supply the affected products to you. We will notify you if this is the case and will not charge you for the product.
9.2. Colours and appearances of products on computer, tablet or mobile device screens may vary slightly and may not accurately reflect actual products delivered and our measurements are only approximate values. We do not guarantee measurements. If you are not satisfied with the item you ordered, you may return the item in line with clause 6 of these terms and conditions.
9.3. Our maximum liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with your order via the website shall be limited to the total price of your order and any proven losses that you suffer as a result of our failure to comply (whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise) which are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such breach.
9.4. We are not liable for any indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage.
9.5. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for:
- 9.5.1. death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- 9.5.2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- 9.5.3. liability which may not be limited or excluded under UK consumer protection laws;
- 9.5.4. defective products under the UK consumer protection laws; or
- 9.5.5. any other matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability.
9.6. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

10.2. Compliance: We adhere to applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation and we have no intention of excluding or restricting your consumer rights through these terms and conditions.
10.3. Severance: If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of the contract with you.
10.4. Force Majeure: In case of an event beyond our control occurs, and which we are not able to reasonably anticipate or overcome within six weeks, we will no longer have an obligation to fulfil our contract with you. Such an event might include government action or omission, new legislation, war or danger of war, major disturbance of public order, sabotage, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, pandemic, epidemic, virus, and natural disasters. If any of these events occur, we are not obliged to compensate you for any damages. Please note that you as a consumer always have the right to cancel your purchase under any such circumstances which will result in a full refund of any payments made.
10.5. Third Parties: Nothing under the contract shall give rights to any person who is not a party to it.
10.6. Applicable Law: These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English and Welsh courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts.
