DW Drums Performance Series 4-Piece LTD Kit, Black Oyster Glass, Chrome Hardware

DW Performance Series™ 4-Piece Limited Edition Shell Pack, Black Oyster Glass FinishPly™

For a limited time, DW has released one of its most sought-after U.S.-built kits in a striking Black Oyster Glass FinishPly™, combining classic looks with the modern punch that has made the Performance Series a favourite amongst gigging and recording drummers. Handcrafted in Oxnard, California, the Performance Series sits in a sweet spot within the DW range, delivering genuine American-made DW quality and tone without stepping into full custom Collector's Series territory.

At the heart of the kit is DW's patented HVX™ shell construction, using 100% North American Hard Rock Maple. By orientating the maple grains horizontally, vertically and diagonally throughout the shell, DW has created a sound that is focused, punchy and warm, with plenty of low-end presence whilst still retaining clarity and projection.

The toms and bass drum feature 8-ply maple shells, with DW's carefully engineered bearing edges helping to balance attack, sustain and resonance. The result is a kit that feels equally at home on stage or in the studio, producing the deep, modern DW sound that players have come to expect.
